Regular Hours of Operation
Vermilionville is open to the public Tuesday - Sunday 10 am to 4 pm
Holiday Closures: New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Mardi Gras Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Admissions desk closes at 3 p.m.
Administrative staff is available 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Location
Vermilionville is located at 300 Fisher Road, off Surrey St., in
Lafayette
, Louisiana. We are located across from the Lafayette Regional Airport and next to the Jean Lafitte Acadian Cultural Center, which features static exhibits and a wonderful film on the exile of the Acadians from their native Nova Scotia.
If you are coming from I-10 (either west or east) the following directions will take you to Vermilionville:
Exit 103A to Lafayette. You will be on the Evangeline Thwy. After approximately five miles, you will come to University St. Turn left. You will travel approximately three-quarters of a mile, then turn left at stop light. The museum is located at 300 Fisher.
